Print and Multimedia Designer
The Aircraft Training and Aviation Services department of Transport Canada had a requirement for a senior level graphic designer to work on fulfilling the roles of, graphic designer, production designer, photographer and illustrator.
My responsibilities include:
* completing the design templates and page layouts for various aircraft specific publications
* producing interactive PDF templates for cross platform printing
* set up and performed photo shoots of various Transport Canada aircraft and employees
* manipulating and creating images in high resolution for printing in various publications
* photographing, cataloguing, and optimizing images from various Transport Canada aircraft for illustrating purposes
* preparing and sending final artwork for output
* illustrating specific aircrafts and instruments for various publications
* producing and fine tuning as well as creating images for training presentations

Freelance Designer
I worked tenuously to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction, quality of design, and to ensure a long and healthy relationship with my clients. Rogers Wireless is a prime example: what began as a small postcard campaign with the Ottawa office, blossomed into multiple projects ranging from the conceptualization of their 3rd and 4th quarter launches to advertising through t-shirts, mobile billboards to a vendor enquiry database. Because I exceeded the clients expectations, I also was awarded contracts with Rogers sans fils in Montreal, Rogers Northern Ontario and Rogers Greater Toronto Area.
For my clients, I implemented the following:
* conceptualization and maintenance of new and existing corporate standards
* design and layout of magazines, newsletters, annual reports and brochures
* developed marketing campaigns and strategies
* media buying, and producing ads for newspapers, magazines and trade publications

Production Designer
Origin Studios is a multi discipline studio that required a contractor to fill a production designer’s position for their client “The Canadian War Museum”.
My responsibilities included:
* designing graphic wall panels
* producing high resolution versions of the final design for all of the graphic wall panels
* optimizing high resolution images for final output (printing)
* manipulating and creating images and image montages in high resolution
* cataloguing and optimizing low resolution versions of images for production purposes

CML Emergency Services is a manufacturer of 9-1-1 software and hardware. This design and communications position involved providing input on the marketing and marketability of the company on the North American and world stage.
