Freelance Information Architect

smartdept.inc. is a creative and marketing staffing firm in Chicago. Our client is a mid-sized agency who is looking for a mid-level Information Architect. This is a contract position with the possibility of converting to a permanent position.

Qualified candidates must have:

2+ years of professional experience working in an Information Architect role for a creative agency or interactive creative department. Must have wireframe samples and an understanding of usability, brand experience and business and user goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and/or Axure.

Ability to understand and organized specialized content.

Work directly and collaborate with designers and developers as well as support the Senior Information Architect.

Must have the ability to start immediately (within 2 days) if selected after interview. This is an immediate need. Only local candidates will be considered. Must have the ability to work on-site 40 hours/week at our clients Chicago loop office.
